What happens when injustice keeps returning, and so does the team determined to fight it? Taxi Driver Season 3 brings back the Rainbow Taxi crew with new missions, deeper emotional conflicts, and even higher stakes. As they continue helping victims who have nowhere else to turn, the drama once again explores the thin line between revenge and justice, proving that some battles never truly end.

“Taxi Driver Season 3” is a South Korean television series aired on SBS TV from November 21, 2025, to January 10, 2026. Written by Oh Sang-ho and directed by Kang Bo-seung, this crime thriller series is available to watch on Viki and other streaming platforms.

Plot Summary 

Rainbow Taxi is back with their revenge service to tackle dangerous criminals and organized gangs. The team goes to Japan to save a student forced to work as a prostitute through a gambling game. They devise a plan to take down the Japanese Yakuza, who is the head of a human trafficking ring. 

After finishing this international syndicate, the Taxi team moves towards the local offenders with more complex crime methods. When lead driver Kim Do-gi's action, CEO Jang Sung-chul's guidance, hacker Ahn Go-eun's expertise, and reliable mechanic duo Choi Kyung-ku & Park Jin-eon assemble, even an impossible mission seems possible. 

The crew takes on highly challenging cases involving formidable villains, including the Noblesse Motors, Jingwang University volleyball Team, Yellowstar Entertainment, and Second-hand Market Fraud Operation. 

Kim Do-gi comes across a petition to clear a wrongly accused female deceased soldier, Yoo Seon-ah, brought to him by Park Jae-won, a master sergeant in the military. Both Seon-ah and Jae-won were trained by Do-gi during his military service, and they share a close bond as senior and junior. 

To uncover the truth behind Seon-ah's death, Do-gi reenters the military to investigate the case. Soon, the Rainbow Taxi crew joins him in this mission. 

As they dig deeper into the investigation, they uncover a shocking military conspiracy that reveals a serious national threat.

My Thoughts 

Taxi Driver 3 continues the vigilante activities by delivering justice when the legal system falls short. Centered around the theme of revenge, the series highlights real-world social issues and societal failures. The show's cinematography effectively captures the raw emotions of the victims, as well as the empathy of the Rainbow Taxi crew towards those who seek their help. 

The entire cast delivered exceptional performances. I want to particularly commend Lee Je-hoon for his outstanding acting and impressive action scenes. Unlike previous seasons, this one does not have a single main antagonist. Instead, it presents notable villains through different episodic stories. 

The lead driver, Kim Do-gi showcase his creative personas to infiltrate cases while CEO Jang Sung-chul serves as a moral compass for his team. The mechanics duo of Choi Kyung-ku and Park Jin-eon provides the usual comic relief. Though the bond between hacker Go-eun and Do-gi deepens, the lack of romance is notable. 

The series' finale delves into Do-gi's military past, but its climax ultimately falls short of audience expectations due to its flashy execution. The Rainbow crew's dynamics remain the highlight of the show; however, the story relied more on hacking and combat than on moral dilemmas to resolve the cases. 

Despite the less impact compared to last season's, the series maintains its signature poetic justice, making it highly entertaining and a must-watch for fans of the Taxi Driver series.

Taxi Driver Season 3 keeps the adrenaline, emotional depth, and social commentary that fans love while pushing the story into new and challenging territory. With powerful storytelling and compelling character growth, this season reminds viewers why the Rainbow Taxi team remains one of K-drama’s most unforgettable justice-driven groups. If you love action mixed with meaningful storytelling, this ride is worth taking.
